The summer’s whizzing by and I can’t believe it’s August already. My tics on the other hand are fully aware of the new month. This morning as I was getting ready for work all this popped out:
“August is the month of mottled light, scorched roundabouts and Dick Van Dyke.”
“August is pleased to see you.”
“August is full of hope, wasps and raspy dogs.”
“August is burying its head in a sand dune.”
“August is dancing into the future with dramatic intention.”
“August is a little bit jealous of March.”
“Pinch August’s gusset.”
Whatever the month has in store for you, I hope it’s a good one.
